Here's my progress on Paradise Lost, I love this project. The colors are wonderful and it's such a joy to stitch.
I also pulled out an old UFO, A Stitcher's Prayer by Carriage House Sampling. I am ridiculously close to finishing this one too. I'd love to have two or three projects to send off to Jill Rensel for framing.
On the short list for smaller projects: Bunches of the BBD Stockings, ornaments, Sarah Tobias, Sarah Salter, Sarah Seifer, lot of Sarahs aren't there, Stories to Live by: Eve and I'd like to get back to Miss Lila's house. Keeping in mind there's a market coming, Autumn in the Hollow, two new loose feathers, a few more stockings, a whole new series of Loose Feathers... There is just not enough time in the day :-).
My goals for the new year is to be a bit healthier, lose some weight, exercise more, I'd like to be more deliberate about how I spend my time. I actually have a lot of free time, I just need to spend a bit less time on the computer and a bit more time with needle in hand :-). I think I'd have to lot to show next December if I did that. And finally, no promises about stash diets or spending but I would like to cut back some, I have stash to last me a lifetime so new pieces will have to be the ones I can't wait to start, not pieces that will go in my stash for someday.
I will leave you with a picture of my sweeties, Chloe and Sophie. They are my constant companions, when I am gone according to my DD and DH they wait and watch at the front window for me to get home :-). My DH says they only know he's around when he has a treat for them, LOL. It's not quite that bad but he is third on their list after me and their grandma, my mom.
Hugs and happy new year to all! I hope everyone's year is filled with health, happiness and lots of stitching time!!!!

Love love love your projects Katrina!!! You are bold to have so many large projects going on at the same time! I respect you. And I think everyone around here understands why you frogged the date :)
Happy New Year Katrina! I hope it's a wonderful one for you. LOVE your progress on PL. It looks wonderful as does you TiTD! You have some major BAPs in the works!
Good luck with your goals. I'd love to limit my computer time so I can stitch more. So hard!!
Not wanting to burst your bubble or anything, but apparently the current Loose Feathers series is going to be the last, which is a shame.
Love your progress on Paradise Lost and TiTD is looking fantastic - good luck with getting it finished soon :)
What wonderful projects you've got here Katrina! I love all of them, especially your TiTD, oh my gosh, so beautiful! I can totally relate to your OCD about the date, lol!
The Stitcher's Prayer is so beautiful, love it! Are you going to send that one to Jill?
Your pups are just too cute :-)
xoxo
What wonderful progress you have made on PL - it's such a beautiful piece! WOW, you have quite a list - I look forward to seeing each of them.
Have a good week.
Hi Katrina :) You have some really nice WIP going on. I love your stitching. Your goals for the year sound good to me, I’ll follow along on staying off of the computer, and using that time to be productive. I hope you are doing well!
All your wips are beautiful Katrina! I love A Stitcher's Prayer. I know I've seen the chart, but I'm not sure I have ever seen it stitched. It's so pretty. Looking forward to seeing your other wip pics. :)
P.S. I love the picture of your puppies... they're so sweet! :)
What great projects you have!
I just dated sampler last night for this year even though 90% was finished last year!
Happy New Year Katrina! You have some wonderful projects on the go and on your list for this new year. I wish you a great year filled with stitches.
The projects you show and the projects you mention are all wonderfull. You are a stitcher right after my fancy, you start the projects one after the other no matter how big tjey are. Just like me.
I wish you a very joyful and successful stitching year.
Lovely stuff, all of it! I know what you mean about starting it all and skipping about, I'm in such a phase right now, but I'm loving it anyway.
And don't worry, there was a rumour that the Loose Feathers would stop, but the new series is in the works according to Needlecraft Corner... or maybe we *should* worry, lol.
Oh I love all your projects! And the ones you want to get to as well. I need to be more healthy as well and exercise more. I hope I can do it! Chloe and Sophie are sooo cute! Oh my goodness! I'd forgotten how white and fluffy they are! lol! They look so happy by the fire!
Hi Katrina,
I have missed your posts. :) Love, love, love all of the projects that you have posted. Beautiful!! I am working on PL right now, too, but you are much farther along than I am. I am enjoying every stitch. You will be posting some finishes soon, it seems. Seems you came out of your stitching slump with flourish! Your little furbabies are adorable!
First of all, those puppies are precious!! Love all the stitchy photos..you are so far ahead of me on Paradise Lost..I just started. I'm tempted to just keep starting stuff..lol! I'm not very good with rotation, though.
Katrina,
I love, love your new blog layout!!!! So you (and me :-)))))
PL looks stunning already as do the others!
Hugs,
Karin
I enjoyed seeing your WIP and can't wait to see you new starts.
Best pics are of Chloe and Sophie! They are too cute, I remember when they were little puppies!
Paradise Lost and This is the Day are gorgeous...I too would have plucked out the 09. LOL
Wishing you a year of productive stitching.
Happy New Year Katrina! Good to hear that your stitching slump is over. I love your progress on PL and TitD is looking lovely! I hear you on changing the date, I'd be the same! You are planning some wonderful projects for 2010 and I look forward to following your progress. Choloe and Sophie are so sweet. Good luck with finishing A Stitcher's Prayer - you are almost there!
Happy New Year Katrina.
Paradise Lost and This is the Day look lovely, great progress
Happy New Year Katrina! Awww, Chloe and Sophie are so cute, thanks for sharing a photo! Your WIPs look wonderful, it will be great to see yoru progress.
Thanks for the visit to my blog. Hope it was okay with you that I posted those pictures.
It would be great for you to come to stitch night when you visit. I think it would be against the law if you didn't!!!!! Can't wait to meet you.
Katrina, I love your goals for 2010, and we share quite a few of them. Computers can really eat up your free time.
Your This Is the Day is so pretty. I can't wait to start it. I started A Stitcher's Prayer and seeing yours makes me want to pull it out again. I've thought of borrowing Niky's idea and using antique in the design.
So glad you shared pictures of Chloe and Sophie. They seem very sweet!
Your Paradise Lost and This Is the Day are beautiful! You have so many projects in your future that I also have in mine.
Katrina, I'm so sorry that Sharri and I missed seeing you at our LNS! She and I ran into each other there (so weird) last Monday, and we picked out her frame with Lynda. It would've been fun to meet you.
Hi, Katrina, and Happy thoughts for your new stitchy year. I adore those pups... Love all your high hopes and dreams for your projects. Sounds like mine, but you've made much more progress on yours. I'm so glad to see you back blogging more. Hugs, Deb
Ooh, does your stitching look good--especially titd!
Hi Katrina!
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog, I really appreciate it! Goodness, you have a lot of things on your stitching list - I love your lists as you very well know! :-)
Your Adam and Eve piece (Plum St) is just gorgeous - such a lot of stitches, but well worth it! Hope all is well with you and yours.

I seriously don't know how I missed this latest post!! I'm glad you told me about it! :) Your WIP pics are gorgeous! You're so close to a finish with both TitD & PL. Go go go! ;) I love the changes you made to TitD. I was really happy with mine but now I'm looking at yours and wondering, LOL. Love the pics of the pups, too.
Your WIPs are all looking fantastic - I agree with you that the colours in paradise Lost are totally scrummy! :D Good luck with your goals for 2010! :D
Katrina, I loved the This is the Day design. Who is it by, and what fabric are you using on it? It is stunning, and on that fabric, it really looks wonderful! Gosh I love your projects. I haven't been stitching a lot yet, like you I have had a big slump -- like 9 months of it. ..I am just now starting to think about my needlework, and I need to stitch some smalls as gifts. I'm running late..but oh well. I know they will be well received when they arrive (smile). Your Paradise Lost is also stunning, the colors are so vivid in that one! I need to get this chart -- who is the designer? I've seen it around but I haven't a clue who designed this one. I guess my stitching enthusiasm is starting to rev up...it's time. Life has been 'crazy'....'wierd'....sometimes I don't think I even know myself, but I am digging my way out of the fog. Just not happening very fast. I am better though, at least some of the time. Still have difficult days, but that's to be expected. Oh I meant to ask another question. What fibers did you use with each of these two projects. I love the colors and I wondered what you used, if you stayed with their suggestions, or if you changed anything/including the original suggested floss line. I loved your red adam and eve needle safe too...I hadn't seen that anywhere before. Is that a Klemscott one or who did it? I also love your apple with the bites in it...how funny! Your stitching is really lovely, and I have to admit that it has me thinking about needlework again ...thank you!
Hi Katrina - love your blogsite. Can you tell me who makes the chart "This is the Day.."? I've looked all over - can you please help me. My son is a minister, and I would like to make it for his birthday. Thanks so much. Marge K
