My friend Karin and I do a stitchalong on Fridays. Our current piece is Miss Lila's House. I am using The Attic's Belle Soie conversion. So far I am really happy with how it's turning out.
I decided to try to put together a conversion on my own. I really wanted to stitch Plum Street Samplers Eve Stories to Live By in overdyes. I hope the colors I've chose will work well. I hope I get to start it this week.
My rotation has officially gone out the window and I am following the "whichever piece is calling the loudest" theory of priority. I am just going "enjoy the journey" and stitch on whatever I please :-). I don't want my stitching to be stressful which is what happens when I start making a bunch of rules for myself. Don't get me wrong, I have so much admiration for those of you who have a rotation and follow it faithly and still get tons of enjoyment from your needlework.
