Meet Chloe and Sophie

I am hoping housebreaking two puppies is not going to be that much more work than one because today I bought two little Shichons. They are a hybrid dog, half Bichon Frise and half Shitzu. The girls are 8 weeks old today. We are picking them up in 10 days, I can't wait. We have to make a quick trip to Virginia next weekend and it wouldn't be fair to leave our DD, Meggie, in charge of two new puppies for four days hence the wait. Chloe is on the left and Sophie is on the right.

We had talked about getting another dog a couple years ago but when we consulted with our vet he didn't think it would be good for Shelby at her advanced age. He said it would just make her miserable and not for anything would we have wanted Shelby to be unhappy. When we started talking last week about a puppy I told my DH Iwanted two from the same litter. I think if we are going to get two we might as well get them at the same time.

I am off to work on my BBD Where My Heart Blooms, I will post another picture later this weekend. Thank you all for you comments and taking time to read my blog. Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend!

Oh, how cute!! I would bet that 2 might even be easier to housebreak than one. Monkey see, monkey do will probably help. Good Luck!!!

Oh Katrina they are so gorgeous like two little teddy bears!

You are going to have SO much fun with those two little moppets! We got Faith and Shania one day apart and honestly, having two is easier than having to entertain one. How big will they get? They are adorable!!!

Just dropping by from the RR blog....and look at the adorable puppies!! We weren't quite brave enough to do the whole "puppy" scene -- our dog is a shelter rescue. Of course, she has her own issues... We talked (briefly!) about getting her a playmate, but decided the cat was enough of a playmate for now. LOL

Your puppies are the cutest! Good luck on the housebreaking. I have always had cats, so I don't know what that is like. I hope it all works out!

Just found your blog after reading a post at The Cozy Egg...hope you get the RR situation figured out ASAP!

Cute puppies! Funny, though...I had 2 pet rats in college (I'm a critter kind of person and had to have SOMETHING warm and furry...LOL! And rats actually make really good pets.) and their names were Chloe and Sophie.

Oh Katrina!!! They are just the sweetest ever. I am sure they will love you for a long time!!
I feel so awful that Lauren kept yours and Michelle's RR's. Be assured that I will do everything I can to make the rest of this experience a good one for us all.

Hi Katrina,

The puppies are just gorgeous! Girls are *much* easier to train than boys - we have had both...... As always, your stitching is lovely! I'm sorry to hear about the RR I hope you get your piece home very soon!

love Jackie x

Your new babies are gorgeous, Katrina!! Give them loads of cuddles for me. Hope things work out with your RR. :(

Love the new puppies Katrina!! Will be watching for more pics when you get them. Also, my sympathy on your RR fiasco. I've been there and done that- one RR I was in we waited 7 MONTHS to get some RR's back, and only then after many harrassing emails. I am hesitant to enter into any more after some experiences and even those were small groups that we thought would not be a problem. I don't understand why people simply can't respond with the reason they can't continue and send the piece back!!!! As a friend of mine always says "there are givers and takers in this world" and so there you are.........

Katrina, They are too darling! I had two yorkies at one time and couldn't love them each enough! I know you'll enjoy them! I was sooo sad to learn about your missing Neighborhood this week, as I'm just out from under (a little bit) of my URinfection. I left a comment on Lauren's blog... It's just awful!! I would love to add a house on your new piece, when all's said and done, if you'd care to let me!
Hugs,
Deb
